Refund and Cancellation Policy

CONFIRMATION & DEPOSIT

Please forward us a written confirmation of the booking with a signed copy of the terms and conditions. The hotel reserves the right for: -

  • A non-refundable deposit equivalent to 50% of the expected billing (Including taxes) upon confirmation of the event
  • An additional 30% advance payment on the total billing (Including taxes) will be required one month prior to the event
  • The balance 20% of the expected amount of the billing (Including taxes) has to be settled seven days prior to function through Cash/Credit/Demand draft)

SAFETY AND SECURITY GUIDEINE

  • The hotel has implemented certain steps in the hotel premise for better safety and security of our guests
  • Only "In" gate will be used for entry and exit of guest cars
  • The hotel has limited self-parking space available within the hotel premises
  • Car parking will be owner’s risk

RELEASING TENTATIVE BOOKINGS

The Emerald Grand reserves the right to cancel any tentative booking which is not confirmed within three working days of the reservation being made. The hotel will check with the client on the same prior to releasing the date to other prospective clients

ADVISE OF FINAL NUMBERS AND DETAILS

  • Reconfirmation on the number of guests attending, along with all final detail of the event should be notified to our banquet department 15 days prior to the event
  • A guaranteed minimum of guests attending must be advised 72 hours prior of the event
  • Should the number of guests attending exceed the guaranteed minimum number confirmed, the client will be billed as per the agreed rates for food and beverages. Any other charges or service provided will be extra
  • No argument on our terms & conditions

CANCELLATION POLICY

  • Cancellation after 10 days of the booking date: - No retention
  • Cancellation between 08 to 14 days of the booking: -10% retention of booking amount
  • Cancellation between 04 to 07 days of the booking date: -50% retention of entire’ booking amount
  • Cancellation After 03 days of the Booking date (72 hours) and less prior to the arrival and non-arrival (No show) :- Retention of entire booking

FOOD AND BEVERAGE POLICY

  • Food will be prepared only 10% in excess, over the minimum guaranteed number of guest attending.
  • In case of cocktail lunch or dinner functions, the pre meal snacks service will be for duration of maximum two hours from the of commencement of the function
  • Only food and beverage item provided by The Emerald Grand is to be consumed on the hotel premises. No leftover food or beverage will removed of the premises for outside consumption even guaranteed pax are not arrived
  • Should the number of person exceed over 10% of this guaranteed number, The Emerald Grand reserves the right of charge Rs. 100 per person extra over and above the agreed rate of the function on the number of guest exceeding the 15% mark
  • We agree that the children will be charged FULL RATES.
  • The food & beverage shall be served till 11.30 pm and the hall shall be vacated by 12.00 midnight
  • Lunch time - 11:00am to 3:00pm, Dinner time - 7:00pm to 11:00pm, if any of the halls are used before or after the timings will have to pay extra charge on per hour basis.

LIQUOR LICENSING REGULATION

  • Liquor will be served only after the hotel has obtained the necessary liquor license. For processing this form a fee of INR…… is payable on behalf of the client
  • Liquor would only be served till 21:00 hrs
  • The entire liquor and soft beverages have to be purchased from the hotel
  • All beverages will be charged on consumption basis or as per our listed beverage package options

ENTERTAINMENT POLICY

  • DJ Music is allowed till 10:00 pm (ordered by Supreme court)
  • Music/DJ in the halls and open area/lawns shall be permitted only up to 10.00 pm. Please keep in your mind that any type of Music /DJ system will not get play after 10 pm. onward
  • Do not request for DJ or any type of sound system after 10 pm onward. It's offence as per supreme court ruling.
  • Band/Nagadas/Dhol shall not be allowed in the hotel premises. Band to be restricted to outside the hotel's boundary
  • No music/band/Shelurnai will be allowed to be played at the time of Bidai/Departure
